Welcome to my perfectly imperfect attempt at productive rebellion

I wrote an article about slow reading... and then spent months not publishing it.
The irony isn't lost on me – a productivity-obsessed person who can't seem to hit the damn publish button. But maybe that's exactly the point.
The past few years have been one big beautiful mess of contradictions.
I've gone deep down the rabbit hole of AI, even further down with productivity tools (like, really deep), while simultaneously trying to figure out how to stay human (creative, intuitive, etc.) in this chaos we call the digital age.
I've been learning, questioning, and honestly? Sometimes completely forgetting I even had this Substack.
Here's the thing that keeps me up at night: how do we balance being efficient with being deep? It’s a perennial question for a generalist like me. Even more important in an age where we have LLMs and “smart” computers.
I'm that person with color-coded task lists trying to optimize everything, while also being the one who wants to spend hours lost in thought about what it all means. It's messy. And it’s been my journey for the last two years.
Through my own fumbling experiments – trying to manage the info overflow, being productive without losing my soul, finding a niche, finding my voice, and learning to embrace the mess while still getting shit done – I've found some answers. But mostly a lot more questions.
And I'm betting I'm not the only one wrestling with this stuff.
So here on in, I'm sharing these explorations regularly (for real this time). We'll dive into the weird space where productivity meets creativity, where tech meets human, where getting things done meets actually living.
No polished answers, just honest attempts at figuring it out in this AI-wild world.
So, hi again. Welcome to my perfectly imperfect attempt at productive rebellion.
